Watercolor workshop for beginners in Lisbon at Lisboa Paper Company, a creative space in the heart of the city dedicated to local artists, independent makers and the simple joy of creating something with your hands. Led by Ana Oliveira, this is a playful and intuitive painting session that prioritises creative exploration over perfection, giving you the space to experiment with colour, water and pigment through guided themes including botanical illustrations, natural landscapes and imaginative creatures. No prior painting experience needed and no pressure to produce anything technically perfect.<\/p>\n

The session moves through the core watercolor fundamentals from the ground up: wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, gradient transitions, colour mixing and expressive brush control. You will develop a feel for water-to-pigment balance, explore texture effects and experiment with different paper types, building genuine confidence with the medium through guided practice and creative exercises throughout. The atmosphere at Lisboa Paper Company is warm, supportive and deliberately unhurried, making this as much a mindful and enjoyable afternoon as it is a painting class.<\/p>\n

We are Rosa and Leonor, founders of Lisboa Paper Company, a shop and creative space in the heart of Lisbon dedicated to showcasing and supporting local artists and small Portuguese brands. Beyond the store we have created a space for experiences, from creative workshops to tastings and cultural events, where people can connect, learn and enjoy local craftsmanship in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Open to participants aged 14 and over. Sessions run with a minimum of 4 participants.
