Cork marbling workshop in Setúbal at Studio Bacalhau with Tinu, an award-winning artist with a Master of Fine Arts, founder of The Art Farm in Goa and a creative practitioner whose work moves between art, craft, ecology and community, a one-hour hands-on session at 35 euros exploring the art of Ebru, the traditional water marbling technique, on Portuguese cork. All materials included, conducted in English, suitable for complete beginners with no painting or printmaking experience needed.

Using brushes, styluses and combs you float colours on a specially prepared water surface, gently manipulate them into flowing patterns and transfer your designs onto cork, capturing a moment in the creative process that can never be exactly repeated. A playful and meditative experience that brings together art, nature and Portugal’s cork heritage in a studio that welcomes locals, travellers and families looking for a creative experience rooted in place and material.
