Designed for curious creatives who want to expand beyond the basics and discover new ways to bring colour, imagery and personal expression into their ceramic work. After the third session there is a one-week pause for drying and firing before the final glazing and finishing class.<\/p>\n
Class 1 introduces the Japanese nerikomi technique, using differently coloured clays to create intricate graphic patterns within the material itself. Class 2 explores ceramic tile painting as a way to develop your own visual compositions using drawing, colour, transfer methods and stencils. Class 3 covers printing and image-making techniques applied directly to clay surfaces, combining drawing, texture and form. Class 4 focuses on glazing and firing, exploring how glaze contributes to the appearance and finish of your work and completing the journey from first experiment to finished ceramic piece.<\/p>\n
