I\u2019m a bookbinder from Porto.\r\n\r\nI have a degree in Graphic Design, which is how I first started making books. I love teaching, having taught myself bookbinding when I was starting out, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see the happiness on someone\u2019s face when they admire the first book they\u2019ve made.\r\n\r\nO Alfaiate do Livro came to life in 2010, when I felt confident enough to bind my friends\u2019 projects as well as my own. In 2012, I took the plunge and held my first workshop. It went so well that I never stopped!\r\n\r\nI\u2019ve been part of collectives, worked as a designer, and even helped out in a printmaking studio, but in the end, I chose bookbinding as my craft and profession.","link":"https:\/\/handson.pt\/pt\/teacher\/alfaiatedolivrogmail-com\/","slug":"alfaiatedolivrogmail-com","avatar_urls":{"24":"https:\/\/handson.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_5394-scaled.jpg","48":"https:\/\/handson.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_5394-scaled.jpg","96":"https:\/\/handson.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_5394-scaled.jpg"},"meta":[],"user_switching_url":null,"elementor_introduction":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/handson.pt\/pt\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2720","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/handson.pt\/pt\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users"}]}}
