For the last 30 years my life has revolved around drums. A rewarding journey in the search for the essence of rhythm and its impact on us humans. Since my graduation in communication and journalism, back in the day, I have nurtured this idea that rhythm is a transcendent form of communication, understood by everyone. A kind of universal language that connects us all.\r\n\r\nOn this long journey I had the privilege of working with extraordinarily talented musicians such as Josh Dion (Paris Monster), Galandum Galundaina, Michael Lauren, Carl\u00e3o, Adolfo L\u00faxuria Canibal, Peyo Peev, Armando Teixeira (Balla), Nuno Rebelo (Mler Ife Dada), and many others. I played in bands like Big Fat Mamma, OSSO, At Freddy\u2019s House, \u00c2ngela Pol\u00edcia, Sangue Suor and Knok Knok. I composed plays directed by Ant\u00f3nio Fonseca and Paulo Castro and musical pieces by Miso Ensemble. I wrote books such as  \u201cManual de Percuss\u00e3o Tradicional\u201d and \u201cA Toque de Caixa\u201d. I trained and still train several dozen drum students.
