{"id":886,"name":"Mafalda Maya","url":"","description":"Mafalda Maya was born in Lisbon in 1984. She found in jewellery a form of artistic expression, inspired by memories of her grandmother\u2019s pieces, which were kept with love and care.\r\n\r\nShe began her artistic journey at Escola Ant\u00f3nio Arroio, where she was first introduced to goldsmithing techniques and developed a passion for workshop-based and experimental work. She completed her jewellery design training at Escola Contacto Directo.\r\n\r\nBetween 2007 and 2009, she lived in New York, where she studied at UrbanGlass, adding glass techniques to her training.
