Joana launched Recriarte to merge her love for art and plants, creating a unique concept: easy-care plants combined with artistic design.
Recriarte has been in business for 4 years, founded and led by Joana Dias, who has a background in gardening and organic farming. A passionate self-taught artist,
We specialize in closed terrariums—self-sustaining mini gardens encased in glass jars with lids, requiring watering only two to three times a year or even less. Our terrariums stand out by featuring mini plants instead of the common moss-only terrariums.
We also sell air plants (scientific name: Tillandsias), which thrive without soil and can be placed anywhere. They only need to be soaked in water every 15 days to stay hydrated. We create wooden and macramé holders, making these air plants perfect decorative pieces for the home. Besides their unique aesthetic, air plants help purify the air by absorbing moisture and electromagnetic waves.
Our commitment is to continue innovating to meet our clients' needs.
