About
I'm Francisco Silva, a passionate analogue photographer with a couple years of experience in film cameras and darkroom techniques. Through my technical curiousity of the chemical miracle that is film, I aim to guide students through every step of the process, from shooting to devolping and printing your photos. Join me and my workshops to experience the full and beautifull magic of analogue photography.
This course on developing analogue colour film turned out to be one of the most rewarding creative experiences I’ve had in a long time. I went in expecting a technical workshop, but what I found was a genuinely inspiring blend of craft, science, and hands-on discovery.
Francisco made the complex world of C-41 chemistry feel surprisingly approachable. He broke everything down step by step, emphasising not just the “how,” but the “why” behind each stage. What I appreciated most was how supportive the environment was, there was no pressure to be perfect, just encouragement to experiment, learn, and enjoy the process. By the end of the course, I walked away with a deeper appreciation for analogue photography.
Many thanks to Francisco!
