Clay sculpting workshop in Lisbon where you work with Portuguese clay to sculpt a human figure from a live nude model, guided step by step by international sculptor Ella Taub in a candlelit studio in the heart of the city. Clay Night has been running for over eleven years across Europe and worldwide. No experience needed, no pressure to produce anything perfect, just three hours of focused, meditative making in good company.

From the moment you arrive the session is entirely yours. Ella walks you through the basics of working with clay before guiding you through the full sculpting process as the live model holds a continuous pose. She offers hands-on direction when you want it and steps back when you do not. The atmosphere is deliberately unhurried: candlelight, background music, Portuguese wine, and enough time to completely lose track of it. Most people do. The studio environment is elegant, body positive and respectful from start to finish, connecting you to a traditional figure sculpture practice within a genuinely intimate setting.

Perfect place to celebrate your birthday or to host any type of event. Def recommend! It also has an amazing view, and it's in the epicenter of nightlife.

The best co-working space and community in Lisbon. We’ve met some amazing friends here, as well as new team members. They are super welcoming to dogs, and a special shoutout to Vicky for always making us feel at home. The place is beautifully designed… a great space to focus and get some work done.

I've been coming to Tribe for the past 6 months now, this coworking space is a gem! Stable internet connection, which is a must have. Love the ambiance, it strikes a perfect balance between cozy and professional. It's quiet, and when someone does get a bit loud, the staff is quick to address it, ensuring a productive environment. I can easily lock in here. Also a good place to make new friends and even network. They host events after work hours from time to time, too. Staff is friendly and attentive, I’m happy with it overall.

Very cosy coworking! Vicky and the other members of the team will make you feel welcome, and it's easy to meet other coworkers or find a quiet spot if you need one for a productive day. Most evenings they organize events either at the place or elsewhere in the area. The place is beautiful too and the free coffee just tops it off. Highly recommended!

Been at Tribe for two months and it is a great co-working space with nice and calm atmosphere, just the right amount of social interactions and events. The facilities are excellent as well but what takes the place to another height is the manager Vicky. He brings a great energy to the office, makes sure to know everyone and introduce you to new people. Highly recommended place for work.

More about your Teacher ella Taub

    ella Taub

I am a professional sculptor and art educator with over ten years of experience teaching clay sculpting and artistic life model studies. My practice is rooted in classical sculpture, anatomy, and material-based exploration of the human form. I have taught thousands of students through independent studios, cultural institutions, and art programs, working with artists at different stages of their professional development.

My teaching focuses on observation, form, proportion, and sensitivity to material, using the human body as a traditional and academic reference, similar to practices found in art schools and museums worldwide. My work and classes are strictly educational, intended for adult students, and grounded in respect, professionalism, and artistic integrity.

Alongside teaching, I maintain an active artistic practice, creating sculptural works and immersive projects that explore time, material history, and the relationship between body and form. My work aims to create thoughtful, safe, and meaningful spaces for learning, artistic growth, and creative exchange.
