    More about your Teacher Alessio Marcato

    Alessio Marcato

    Alessio created Circolo in March 2020, during the lockdown, where we master the use of a wood oven at home in Portugal. Each day became an opportunity for culinary experiments and making our friends’ bellies happy. We began by selling pizza bases until we managed to buy a portable pizza oven. We then moved to Spain, where our takeaway service began.

    Upon returning to Portugal, Circolo started collaborating with hostels and organizing private events. Pizza has been an incredible tool for bringing the community together after so much isolation. We, at Circolo, are grateful for the journey so far, all the opportunities, amazing experiences, and incredible people we have met and collaborated with. Over the past few years, we have served people during many special moments, including weddings, birthdays, parties, gatherings, retreats, and festivals.
