Emotional liberation circle in Lisbon at Feel at Om studio in Benfica, a four-hour in-person gathering for anyone who wants to learn to be with their emotions in community rather than alone. Led by Sofia Alçada Baptista, who integrates somatic practices, meditation and conscious breathing into individual and group sessions, this circle returns to a millennial human practice: gathering together so that the process of feeling and releasing happens in mutual support rather than in isolation. No judgment, no rush to resolve anything. Just holding, feeling and letting it pass through.
The session follows four distinct stages across the four hours. The circle opens at 9:00 with an arrival circle where everyone settles and connects. At 10:00 a somatic practice begins, working with the body to release emotions that have become frozen in the physical tissue. At 11:00 group exercises deepen the work in community. At 12:30 an integration circle closes the experience, bringing everything together before you leave. You go home with concrete tools: somatic practices, conscious breathing techniques and ways of receiving yourself when a strong emotion arrives, whether at home, at work or anywhere in daily life.
This circle is for you if you feel overwhelmed by emotions, want concrete tools for emotional regulation, sense some kind of emotional block or want to relate better to your own emotions and to the people around you. It is not for you if you are looking for someone to do the work for you or if you do not feel comfortable in a community setting.
