    Foi uma experiência muito especial! A minha formação é em Comunicação, por isso não tinha qualquer contacto prévio com aguarela. Portanto, claro, tal como a maioria de nós, estava um pouco apreensiva sobre se conseguiria beneficiar deste curso. E consegui, sem dúvida: a Joana fez com que todos nos sentíssemos à vontade, convidando-nos a explorar a criança que carregamos dentro de nós (isto é verdadeiramente um quebra-gelo), de modo a experimentar livremente a água e os pigmentos em diálogo com o papel. Fiquei surpreendida com os resultados. Indubitavelmente, a Joana é uma educadora experiente: compreende verdadeiramente as necessidades de cada pessoa e sabe como tirar o melhor de nós, mesmo que, como eu, não tenhamos experiência prévia nas artes plásticas.
    Não queria que as aulas terminassem. Cada sessão parecia um momento precioso de descoberta e liberdade criativa. Apenas lamento, mea culpa, não ter feito mais perguntas durante as sessões, pois estava completamente imersa na experiência de brincar com a água e a cor. 😉 A Joana é tão generosa no seu apoio, e tenho a certeza de que, se precisar de orientação no futuro, ela estará disponível para ajudar mesmo depois do curso ter terminado.

    O workshop foi muito interessante para iniciantes. o grupo tinha a dimensão adequada, e a professora tem uma comunicação muito fluida e agradável. Fica apenas a sugestão de haver uma disposição diferentes entre os alunos e a professora para que alguns alunos não fiquem demasiado afastados e por isso tenham uma menor percepção do que é demonstrado, ainda para mais no caso da aquarela em que o papel tem que ser mantido na horizontal e não possa estar mais visível para quem está mais longe.

    Adorei muito este curso de aguarela! A professora Joana foi fantástica e muito paciente, explicando cada técnica com clareza. Aprendi imenso sobre misturas de cores, trabalhar com água e papel, e como criar diferentes texturas e efeitos.
    O ambiente da aula foi muito acolhedor e descontraído, perfeito para quem está a começar ou quer melhorar as suas capacidades artísticas. Os exercícios práticos foram bem estruturados e ajudaram-me a ganhar confiança com o pincel.
    Recomendo vivamente este curso a qualquer pessoa interessada em aguarela. Foi uma experiência muito positiva e já estou ansiosa para continuar a praticar o que aprendi!

    I am a visual artist and art educator based in Portugal, with a background in Fine Arts and extensive experience teaching visual arts to children, young people and adults. I am a certified visual arts teacher and the founder of my own atelier, where I design and lead in-person courses, workshops and artistic training programmes.

    My practice spans painting, drawing and mixed media, with a particular focus on watercolor as a space for experimentation, observation and expressive freedom. I regularly collaborate with museums and cultural institutions, developing educational projects that connect artistic practice, heritage and contemporary approaches to learning.

    Through my courses and ateliers, I aim to create welcoming, inspiring spaces where participants can explore materials with confidence, develop their skills and nurture a personal artistic language. My teaching approach values process, curiosity and creative freedom over rigid outcomes.
