Lynx Race Mafra is one of Portugal’s premier obstacle course racing (OCR) events, bringing together athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and adventure seekers for an unforgettable challenge in the stunning surroundings of the Tapada Militar de Mafra.

As the second stage of the Lynx Race Circuit, the event offers something for everyone, whether you’re aiming for the podium or simply looking to push your personal limits. Participants can choose between a 10 km course featuring approximately 30 obstacles, a 5 km course with around 20 obstacles, or a 2 km Kids Race designed to introduce younger athletes to the excitement of obstacle racing.

Competitors can race in two formats:

Competitive – for athletes seeking a true race experience, with mandatory obstacle completion, official timing, and penalties.
Open – ideal for those who want to enjoy the course, challenge themselves, and experience the thrill of OCR in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The course winds through the unique natural landscape of the Tapada Militar de Mafra, combining forest trails, technical terrain, and a diverse range of obstacles that test strength, agility, balance, endurance, and determination. Every challenge is designed to reward perseverance and celebrate personal achievement.
