I’m Karen Wride, an artist based in the beautiful Algarve, where the light, colours, and natural surroundings inspire me every day. Living here has deeply influenced my work, and much of what I create reflects the sea, landscapes, and peaceful energy of this special region.
My art is a personal expression of how I see and feel the world around me. I love working with colour, texture, and movement to create pieces that capture emotion as much as a scene. Each painting is created with passion and intention, with the hope that it connects with people in a meaningful way.
For me, art is about bringing beauty, feeling, and atmosphere into a space. I’m constantly inspired to explore new ideas and grow creatively, while staying true to the joy I feel when I paint. The Algarve is my home, my muse, and an endless source of inspiration.
