Emily is a full-time cartoonist and graphic novelist of 9 years.
In 2016, her first comic 'Bloodlust & Bonnets' was shortlisted for the prestigious Observer/Jonathan Cape Graphic Short Story Prize. It was expanded and published as a graphic novel by Simon & Schuster (UK) and Andrews McMeel (US) in September 2019, and was shortlisted for the 2020 Comedy Women In Print Prize. Her second graphic novel, 'Twelve Percent Dread', was published to acclaim by Picador (UK) and Dark Horse Comics (US) in 2022
Emily is currently working the wildly popular social media comic 'Nuns', and continues to publish new comics on her social media accounts and Patreon page under her moniker @emilyscartoons.
