Graffiti workshop for kids in Lisbon with Nikita Novikov, a 1.5-hour creative session for children aged 6 and over built around the idea that spray paint is one of the hundred languages a child has, and that every child deserves a wall and the freedom to use it. Led by Nikita, artist and creator of the Fulfil the Dream workshop, this is not a graffiti school and Nikita is not an instructor in the traditional sense. He is a guide, and the space he creates is prepared so that every child can explore, express and trust themselves within clear and respectful limits. Maximum six kids per session. All paints are water-based and non-toxic and full protective equipment is available.

The session follows three connected stages. The basics open the experience, introducing tools and core ideas in a way that gives every child the confidence to begin. Sketching develops the creative foundation through drawing, colouring, stickers and stencils. Every session ends with a large wall piece in spray paint, the moment where everything comes together and each child leaves their mark in the most satisfying and visible way possible. The approach draws on progressive educational philosophies including Montessori and Reggio Emilia, prioritising the process over the result, independence over instruction and self-confidence over comparison.

I am Nikita Novikov, also known as alwaysagainst1, an artist, former director of photography and teacher currently focused on creative education for kids through graffiti. I created the Fulfil the Dream workshop in Lisbon as a space where children can explore creativity, self-expression and confidence through drawing and spray painting in a safe and genuinely supportive environment. I am also a father of a 12-year-old son, which deeply influences the way I approach working with kids and the kind of creative experiences I want to build for them.
