Photography workshop in Almada at Homie Academy for anyone who wants to take better photographs, whether with a professional camera or a smartphone. The course covers the essential technical and creative foundations that make the real difference in any photograph, and the whole point is that it is not the equipment that makes a good photographer but the knowledge of how to use whatever you have. All participants receive individual guidance throughout and leave with a document summarising all the tips and techniques covered. No prior photography experience needed.
The session opens with a brief introduction to photography and its foundational concepts before moving into the core technical knowledge: understanding and adjusting ISO, aperture and shutter speed for quality results in any scenario, and the creative principles of light, composition and framing that elevate a photograph from a snapshot to something genuinely considered. Practical exercises with each participant’s own equipment follow, with individual accompaniment and real-time feedback on results so every person leaves having applied what they learned to their own specific camera or phone.
