Hi! I’m Frank, a professional photographer based in Lisbon with a passion for helping people capture better, more meaningful photos - using nothing more than their phone. After years behind the camera working with models, travelers, and creative projects across Europe, Brazil and Australia, I realized that great photography isn’t about expensive gear - it’s about learning to see differently. That’s why I created these workshops: to teach simple techniques anyone can use to turn everyday moments into beautiful, well-composed shots. Whether you’re a traveler who wants to take stunning vacation photos, a small business owner trying to improve your product shots, or just someone who wants their pictures to finally match the memories - I’ll guide you step-by-step through lighting, composition, framing, and storytelling so your photos feel truly professional. Not at all! This workshop is designed for complete beginners and anyone who just wants to take better photos with their phone. You’ll learn everything step by step in a relaxed and friendly way.
Just your smartphone (fully charged!) and a bit of curiosity. If possible, make sure your camera app is updated and that you have some free space for new photos.
You’ll learn how to use light, composition, and framing to take stunning photos anywhere - from portraits to street scenes and travel shots. You’ll also pick up practical tips to make your pictures look more professional, even without fancy gear.
The standard workshop lasts around 2 hours, including a short intro, guided photo walk, and practice exercises.
We’ll meet in Lisbon, at a photogenic outdoor location with great natural light and diverse backdrops — perfect for hands-on learning. You’ll receive exact details after booking.
To keep things personal, group size is limited to 5 participants, so everyone gets individual attention and feedback.
If it rains, the workshop will be rescheduled or moved to a covered location. You’ll always be notified in advance.
Yes! Throughout the session, I’ll give you personalized feedback and practical advice to help you improve with each shot.
The workshop is held in English, but I also speak French if needed.
