09/08/2025 at 15:48I loved the class and the teacher and Fabs! I can’t believe how quickly the 3.5 hours went by. Also can’t believe that we managed to make a nice tote bag at the end. It seemed like a breeze, seemed easy and fun and no stress. I will definitely go back to learn more!

As one of the worlds oldest handcrafts, we believe everyone can learn to sew wherefore we opened our creative space.
We offer a variety of options to jump into the sewing world: for bloody beginners, hobby-seekers, new creators over to advanced designers. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere of the atelier—which is absolutely beautifu,organizedl and full of character—told us we were in the right place. Ariane provided the perfect introduction. Her passion and experience are evident in everything she does, and she has a wonderful way of connecting with people. 3 months agoThe absolute best place in Lisbon to spark your creativity and learn to sew. I always feel supported in my lessons and she has everything on hand (patterns, fabrics, etc) to make your project come to life. I started as a total beginner and am now making complete garments after only a couple classes!

3 months agoI fell in love with sewing over ten years ago and wanted to return to it and was looking for a place to in start again in Lisbon I am so happy I discovered this The Loft Atelier! Ariane (the owner) has created a special community of in this lovely space where crafters from all over the world come together to work on their projects. I recommend it for all levels of sewists! If you’re a beginner like me, start with the beginners workshop!
