We will start with a self-expression exercise called “Postcard of Myself”, where you will illustrate something personal – a favorite place, a feeling, or a hobby – using watercolors.

Then, we will dive into fundamental techniques:
– Wet-on-wet for soft, dreamy backgrounds and abstract effects.
– Wet-on-dry for more control and sharper details.
– Salt technique to create natural textures great for snow, stars, and organic effects.
– Alcohol technique: Play with fluid, unexpected patterns.
– Wax resist: Use wax crayons to create white highlights and contrasts.

To finish up, you will work on your own watercolor piece, combining the techniques you have learned. Whether you are looking to relax, explore creativity, or learn a new skill, this workshop is for you!
