The experience captures your essence and personality in a one-of-a-kind tintype, with the option to bring a family heirloom or meaningful object to include in the portrait and make it even more personal. Alchemy Studio was founded in Porto in March 2022 as a space entirely dedicated to the practice, teaching and artistic development of wet plate collodion photography, bringing a revolutionary 19th-century process back into the present with the care and depth it deserves.
For two people wishing to be photographed together, the price remains 65 euros per person on a larger format plate. Additional format upgrades are available: 5×7 format at 130 euros total (65 euros per person) and 8×10 format at 170 euros total (85 euros per person).
