Discover rhythm through the most ancient and personal instrument: your own body. In this body percussion and vocal rhythm workshop, led by Amarú, sound, movement, and expression merge into a living musical experience where every participant becomes part of a collective composition.

Through rhythmic games, voice work, gestures, and group dynamics, this immersive session invites participants to explore listening, coordination, and spontaneous creation. Inspired by Ibero-American musical traditions and elements of contemporary music, Amarú guides the group to perceive the body as a space of resonance, communication, and creativity, transforming rhythm into connection and celebration.

More than technique, this workshop is a sensory and expressive journey that reveals the rhythm living within each of us, turning it into language, dialogue, and joy. Open to musicians, educators, dancers, and rhythm enthusiasts, with or without prior experience.

FAQ

What materials do I need to bring to this body percussion workshop?

Nothing! Your body is the instrument. Just bring comfortable clothing that allows free movement. If you progress to specific instrument work (guitar, bandoneón, percussion), instrument requirements will be discussed.

Where are the body percussion and voice classes held?

Classes take place in a space suitable for circular group formations and movement, equipped for both body percussion work and eventual transition to traditional instruments.

How do I develop rhythm coordination while singing and moving simultaneously?

The workshop uses progressive skill-building, starting with simple body rhythms before gradually adding vocal elements and more complex patterns, allowing your psychomotor abilities to develop naturally through practice and collective music-making.
