In this workshop, you’ll be guided through the essentials of recording and producing music from the comfort of your own home.
Whether you’re a singer-songwriter, a guitarist, or just curious about music production, this session will help you kickstart your journey into home recording. 🎧
We’ll start with hands-on learning, covering the basics of recording vocals, guitar, and bass using affordable, beginner-friendly equipment. You’ll get familiar with using audio interfaces, microphones, and MIDI controllers, as well as Ableton Live or Logic Pro for recording, editing, and mixing.
You’ll have the chance to experiment, record, and mix your own short track. Filipe Soeiro will guide you step by step, sharing practical tips from his own experience as a musician and producer currently playing gigs around Lisbon.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have recorded a basic track and gained the confidence to start producing your own music at home.

(if the student does not own any/some of this equipment, the teacher can try to provide what’s needed for the workshop)
Important Note:
At present, the workshop is offered exclusively at the student house or studio, and travel expenses are only included in the price as long as the student is located around the Lisbon metropolitan area.
