Soeiro, also known as Sway Row, is an independent musician & producer that has been focusing it´s work in creating original music, mainly in his house/bedroom environment.
He spent the last 7 years in the UK, completing a degree in music production which led to start his own musical project, back in 2021.
Happy to announce its comeback to his hometown, he´s now looking to share the recording and production techniques that fundamentally make a "bedroom producer".
FAQ's
No. The workshop is designed for beginners and introduces the fundamentals of home recording step by step. Whether you already play an instrument or are simply curious about producing music, Filipe will help you understand the basic process.
Ideally, you should have a computer, an audio interface, a microphone, instruments or a MIDI controller, and either Ableton Live or Logic Pro. If you don’t own everything, Filipe may be able to provide some equipment by prior arrangement. Confirm what is available before your session.
The workshop is currently offered at your home or studio. Travel expenses are included for participants located within the Lisbon metropolitan area. If you live further away, any additional travel costs should be agreed with Filipe before booking.
The workshop covers the basics of Ableton Live or Logic Pro. The software used will depend on the session arrangements and your available setup, so let Filipe know which program you have before the workshop.
You’ll leave with a practical introduction to home recording, a better understanding of recording equipment and production software, and experience recording and mixing a short track. You’ll also gain foundational skills to continue experimenting with your own music at home.
