Freedom, dear freedom. This embroidery workshop in Porto is a celebration in thread and fabric: in 2026 we stitch a 3D carnation on a hand-painted red hoop, ready to display, give as a gift or simply keep as a memory of a genuinely lovely morning. No prior embroidery experience needed, nothing to bring, just show up.
The session runs at Studio Sparks in Porto across three hours with everything included, from all the materials to cake, tea and coffee. We work together in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, at your own pace, and you leave with a finished piece and an edition manual to keep going at home if you want to. Extra materials are also available to purchase at the end of the session for future projects.

I am the creator of O Estendal da Flor, a copywriter by profession and an embroidery enthusiast by passion. I discovered embroidery during the pandemic with the help of my mother, who has been stitching since she was 7 years old, and have not stopped since. I started by giving new life to old pieces of clothing and now run free embroidery workshops full of good conversation and even better company.
No prior experience needed and nothing to bring. Open to adults and children aged 8 and over. Spots are limited.
