Indoor skydiving beginner course in Rio de Mouro at DreamFly, Portugal’s first and only indoor skydiving experience, designed for anyone who wants more than a single flight and is ready to start building real bodyflight skills in a structured and progressive programme. Three Flight School sessions of six minutes each, the equivalent of the freefall time of 18 skydives from 4,000 metres, guided by certified professional flight instructors with personalised coaching, a flight progression booklet and HD flight videos included throughout. The course follows a clear and progressive structure built around developing stability, body awareness and controlled movement inside the wind tunnel. Working from the foundations of stable belly-flight positioning and aerodynamic awareness, each session builds on the last, introducing controlled flight movements and transitions before progressing toward basic turns, forward and backward movement and altitude awareness depending on individual progression. The goal is to develop the skills needed to fly independently in a stable position inside the tunnel, with instructors providing personalised technical guidance and real-time coaching at every stage.

Yes. Flight School is designed for beginners with no previous indoor skydiving experience required. Professional instructors will guide you throughout the entire experience.
Indoor skydiving is suitable for both children and adults. Minimum age is 4 years old and there is no maximum age.
Flight School is focused on introducing the fundamentals of bodyflight. Depending on individual progression during the session, participants may begin learning basic controlled movements such as turns, forward/backward motion, and altitude awareness.
The Complete Beginner Course is designed to progressively develop the foundations of stable bodyflight and independent flight control. Depending on individual progression throughout the 3 sessions, participants may learn controlled turns, forward and backward movement, altitude awareness, and basic independent tunnel entry and exit techniques. The course focuses on building the skills required to transition from a first-time flyer into a Autonomous DreamFly Pro Flyer.
Indoor skydiving is suitable for most people; however, participants should not fly if they are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or have a history of serious neck, back, shoulder dislocation or heart conditions that could be aggravated by physical activity.
Yes. Indoor skydiving is conducted in a fully controlled environment under the supervision of certified professional instructors.
Yes. Indoor skydiving (also known as bodyflight) is an internationally recognized sport practiced worldwide, with national and international competitions including European and World Championships. Many professional skydivers and athletes use wind tunnels for training, progression and competition preparation.
Our flying sessions might be shared with other participants, although flights are always performed individually, one person at a time inside the wind tunnel. All Flight School participants receive additional personalized coaching and progression guidance from their instructor.
The Complete Beginner Course includes a total of 18 minutes of flight time inside the wind tunnel (equivalent to the freefall time of approximately 18 skydives from 4,000m altitude). The course can be completed in a single extended Flight School session or across multiple sessions on the same day or on different days and times, depending on participant preference and availability. Participants simply need to contact DreamFly after purchase to schedule the remaining Flight School sessions if they wish to split the course across different dates or times. The full experience duration may vary depending on how the course is scheduled. A complete 18-minute session typically lasts around 1h30m, including check-in, safety briefing, gear-up, flights in the wind tunnel, coaching sessions and debrief. Flight time is divided into multiple entries of approximately 1.5 to 2 minutes each, allowing participants to rest between flights, receive coaching feedback and review their flight videos before the next entry.
Comfortable clothing and lace-up sneakers are recommended. All flight equipment, including flight suit, helmet and goggles, is provided by DreamFly.
Yes. All participants that comes to the wind tunnel for the first time receive the standard DreamFly safety and flight briefing. As a flight school participant you will also receive additional coaching and progression guidance from your instructor.
