Product Description
Ceramic workshop in Lisbon at Amora Estúdio in Penha de França, a social and creative clay space run by experienced ceramists Selma and Niall. This is not a rigid class with a fixed outcome. It is a guided and free-form session where you decide what and how to create, with expert support, suggested themes and exercises available whenever you want them and space to simply make when you do not. Whether you are picking up clay for the first time or developing an existing practice, this is the kind of workshop that makes you want to come back every week.
The session combines structured learning with genuine creative freedom in a fully equipped studio environment. Selma and Niall provide personalized guidance throughout, adapting to your skill level and creative direction rather than the other way around. The atmosphere is warm, community-focused and genuinely enjoyable, designed as much for connection and wellbeing as for ceramics. Your finished pieces are kiln-fired professionally and ready for collection in approximately two weeks. Follow their Instagram highlights under “Fornos” to know when your pieces are ready.

Ceramic pieces fired and ready for collection in two weeks, and the particular satisfaction of having spent time making something in a space that genuinely supports your creativity rather than just directing it.
We are Amanda and Niall, ceramists and founders of Clay Clube at Amora Estúdio in Penha de França. We created this space because we believe ceramics should be as much about community, wellbeing and free creation as it is about technique. Our sessions are designed to give every participant the support they need and the freedom they deserve, in an environment where beginners and experienced ceramicists feel equally at home.
Glazes are included for workshop packages. Individual glazing available for 5 euros per piece. Fired pieces ready in approximately 2 weeks. Check Instagram highlights under “Fornos” for collection updates.
