The Hands On Ambassador Program is a curated community of content creators who attend workshops for free in exchange for creating authentic, high-quality social content. As an ambassador, you'll experience the best hands-on workshops in Portugal—from cooking classes to pottery, wellness sessions to floral design—and share your experiences with your audience while helping us showcase the magic of learning by doing.

Once selected, you'll join our exclusive Ambassador WhatsApp group where we share available workshops each week. You'll book workshops that fit your schedule and interests, attend them for free, and create engaging content to share on your social channels and with Hands On. It's that simple!

We're building a small, curated group of 10 ambassadors for Q1 2026. We review applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.

The initial program runs through Q1 2026 (January - March), with the opportunity to continue based on mutual fit and program success.

We're looking for content creators who:

• Are based in Portugal (preferably Porto or Lisbon)
• Have an active Instagram or TikTok presence with engaged followers
• Create high-quality, authentic visual content
• Are genuinely interested in hands-on experiences and learning new skills
• Can commit to attending workshops regularly and delivering content on time

You don't need a massive following—we value engagement, content quality, and authenticity over follower count.

We prioritize:

• Content quality: Clean aesthetics, good lighting, authentic storytelling
• Engagement rate: An audience that actively engages with your content
• Reliability: Ability to commit to deadlines and deliverables
• Personality fit: Genuine enthusiasm for workshops and hands-on experiences
• Local presence: Availability to attend workshops in Porto or Lisbon

We review applications weekly/bi-weekly and reach out to selected candidates on a rolling basis. You can expect to hear from us within 1-2 weeks of applying.

There's no fixed minimum, but we're looking for ambassadors who can attend at least 2-3 workshops per month. The more you participate, the more you benefit—and the more value you bring to the community!

Absolutely! You'll have access to workshops across all our categories—cooking, arts & crafts, wellness, team activities, and more. You choose the workshops that genuinely interest you and fit your schedule.

Workshops are primarily located in Porto and Lisbon, with occasional opportunities in other Portuguese cities. Location details are shared when workshops are announced in the Ambassador group.

We understand life happens! We ask that you cancel at least 48 hours in advance so another ambassador can attend. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect your standing in the program.

For each workshop you attend, you'll deliver:

Social Content:

• 1 Reel or TikTok (15-45 seconds) posted within 3-5 days of the workshop
• 3-8 Instagram Stories (before/during/after the experience)
• 1 collab post with @handson.pt

Raw Content for Hands On:

• 8-15 vertical video clips suitable for ads (no music embedded)

All content should be authentic, high-quality, and showcase the workshop experience in an engaging way.

Yes. Your Reel/TikTok must be approved by the Hands On team before posting. We'll review it quickly (usually within 24 hours) to ensure it aligns with brand guidelines. Stories don't require pre-approval.

Your Reel/TikTok should be posted within 3-5 days of attending the workshop. Stories should be shared in real-time or within 24 hours. Raw clips should be delivered within 7 days via the method we'll share in the Ambassador group.

All content you deliver to Hands On (including raw clips and the collab post) can be used by Hands On for all purposes, in perpetuity, including paid advertising and promotional materials. You also retain the right to use the content on your own channels.

The primary benefit is free workshop attendance (workshops typically range from €30-€150+ per person).

Workshops are for ambassadors only, as teachers prepare for specific class sizes. However, if you'd like to attend a workshop with friends outside the program, you're welcome to book separately through our website!

We're primarily focused on Porto and Lisbon for Q1 2026 due to workshop density, but we're open to exceptional candidates from other Portuguese cities. Let us know your location in the application!
