Advanced surf lesson in Carcavelos for experienced surfers who are ready to push their technique to a genuinely higher level under the guidance of a coach who knows these waters from childhood. Led by Pedro Marques, born and raised at Praia das Maças on the Sintra coast, these two-hour group sessions run daily with one instructor per group of six students, giving you the focused and specific feedback that experienced surfers need to keep progressing. All equipment is included and fully sanitised before every session. Location may shift to another beach depending on sea conditions on the day.

During summer the lessons run at least twice daily at flexible times adapted to the surf forecast and tidal conditions. Outside summer they run once daily on weekdays and weekends, always adjusted to conditions and group level. At advanced level the coaching goes deep into the technical details that separate good surfers from genuinely fluid ones: deeper and more committed bottom turns, sharper top turns and cutbacks, reading and attacking critical sections of the wave, developing aerial awareness and building the kind of consistency and intentionality that only comes from specific and honest feedback in real surf conditions.

I am Pedro Marques, born and raised at Praia das Maças on the Sintra coast, where the mountains meet the sea. I have had a strong connection with the ocean since childhood through surfing and bodyboarding, and my goal is to transmit that passion and technical depth at every level, including for surfers who are already good and want to become genuinely great.

Lessons run daily. Twice daily during summer at flexible times, once daily outside summer. Location may change to another beach depending on sea conditions. All equipment included and sanitised.
