Here, the unique relationship between nature, art and the comfort of our schist houses, offers the freedom to live, slow down and create in a truly authentic way.
No. This experience is designed for complete beginners. Your instructor will guide you through each stage of the process, helping you build confidence as you learn the basics of wheel throwing.
You'll create one or more small ceramic pieces, such as a cup, bowl, or vase, while learning the core techniques of throwing on an electric potter's wheel.
Yes. Children are welcome to participate when accompanied by one paying adult. Children up to 11 years old benefit from the reduced child rate, making this a fun and memorable family activity.
The experience includes all clay, tools, materials, expert instruction, and kiln firing of your finished pieces. If you would like your work shipped after firing, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
You'll leave with the skills to continue exploring wheel throwing and your own handmade ceramic pieces. If you choose to leave your work for firing, you can collect it later or have it shipped to you for an additional charge.
