Date: Thursday, June 26th | 18:00–20:30
Location: Saúde in the City, Lisbon
No artistic experience needed

Maybe you used to write, paint, sing, or play, without needing a reason.
And maybe, over time, it became harder to make space for that.
Life moved fast. You moved cities. And the joy of “making” got buried under the noise.
This isn’t a workshop to perform or produce, it’s an invitation to return to the part of you that simply creates because it feels good to.

What to expect:

A grounding meditation to arrive gently
Guided mindful art making for self-expression
Exploratory music making to reconnect with sound and voice
A warm sharing circle and small closing ritual
You don’t want to miss this workshop! RSVP now!

This is for YOU if:
You used to feel connected to creativity and want to come back to it
You’ve felt blocked, stuck, or over-identified with “doing”
You miss making things for the sake of making
You’re looking for meaningful connection in Lisbon through creativity and presence
You don’t need to be an artist or a musician.
You just need the desire to show up, with a little curiosity and a willingness to explore.
There was a version of you who used to create before the noise, the burnout, the disconnection.

About the facilitators:

Hala Hamdan is a certified Music Therapist (MA) and parent counselor with 12+ years’ experience. She teaches attachment theory at Metàfora (Barcelona) and gives global lectures to parents and professionals, advocating for music therapy across the Middle East. Aida Akoury is a mindful art facilitator (MA in clinical psychology and trained in art therapy). She creates reflective spaces that blend art and mindfulness in Lisbon catering for groups of women, the lgbtqia+ community and expats.

    Fluid Art and wellness

Are you an art lover, wellness seeker, or soul searcher?
Our sessions offer a safe space for connection and self-discovery, using artistic modalities, and providing a holistic approach to emotional wellness.
Even if you have never painted before, with these workshops you will awaken your Inner healing creator.

    Olá! I’m Aida
I’m the founder of Fluid Art & Wellness, a creative space based in Lisbon, Portugal, where I bring together my passion for art, expression, and meaningful connection. My approach is eclectic, drawing from a wide range of disciplines to offer enriching, experiential sessions that invite you to slow down, explore, and create with intention.
With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, my background bridges academic training and hands-on practice. I’m certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mhGAP: Psychological Primary Care, and Feng Shui-based face reading. My training in Art Therapy and Community Art was completed at Metàfora in Spain, where I studied under a psychodynamic, relational approach , a foundation that continues to shape the way I hold space for creative exploration.
Over the years, I’ve facilitated art-based experiences in many different contexts, including hospitals, international expat circles, LGBTQIA+ communities, and outdoor mindful art sessions in nature. I love working with a range of materials like acrylics, watercolors, clay, collage, and mixed media, adapting each session to meet the moment and the people in the room.
Before stepping fully into this path, I spent over 13 years in the corporate world, which now informs my creative group mentoring and team-focused sessions. I enjoy blending my organizational experience with my creative practice to offer workshops that feel both grounded and expansive.
Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, I create inclusive, welcoming spaces for people from all backgrounds. Whether you’re based in Lisbon or just visiting, I’d love to invite you to join me in a creative experience that’s fluid, freeing, and uniquely yours.
    Let’s create something beautiful together.
