We are based in Oporto city area in a local beach call Grão D´Areia and in Douro Marina. We do surf since 1987 has we teach since 1999 (3rd oldest surf school in Oporto). All staff members are experience surfers and teachers making a unique and exclusive combination surfing versus teaching. During 15 years one of the owners and teachers competed in the National and International Longboard Tour (has started teaching in 1999). SurfingPorto give you the opportunity to learn how to surf with really experience and local portuguese surfers and teachers. We also are surf travelers since 1989 and we have a lot of experiences to share with you in our surf trips. Be surprise with our quality surf spots. Porto is much more than a city break! In the end you will simply get infected by our life style.
FAQ's
No! The lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate surfers, and experienced surfers. Your instructor will adapt the training to your level and experience.
The experience includes a 2-hour group surf lesson, all necessary surf equipment, insurance, and transfer to the surf spot. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 people per teacher.
Please bring your swimming suit, a beach towel, water, and sunscreen. Comfortable beachwear is recommended.
Yes. Children from 6 to 8 years old can participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
No. The surf equipment is provided for use during the lesson only. After the lesson finishes, continued use of the equipment is not permitted.
