Mother’s Day Tile painting workshop in Lisbon for anyone who wants to spend the day doing something genuinely creative and memorable. On the 3rd of May, Tile Me More invites you to the rooftop of Sunset Destination Hostel for 2.5 hours of tile painting, good energy and an incredible view, creating your own 15x15cm azulejo to keep as a permanent memory of the day. Bring your mum, bring someone special, bring your own ideas or work from the inspiration models provided. The result is yours to keep forever.
Rita opens the session with an introduction to the tile painting method before everyone moves into creating their own piece. Inspiration models are available throughout but you are actively encouraged to bring your own ideas. If you have designs from home, bring them already traced on tracing paper ready to transfer, or bring your own stencils. After the workshop all tiles are taken to be fired, guaranteeing the final finish and durability of every piece. Collection arrangements are made directly with Rita once the tiles are ready. At collection you will also have the opportunity to purchase additional decorative pieces including boxes, trays and frames.
