Hi!
My name is Rita Sequeira, and I’m the person behind Tile Me More, a brand dedicated to hosting tile painting workshops.
I’ve always been drawn to creative expression and meaningful connections, which naturally led me to create these workshops.
Through them, I aim to bring back the sense of creativity many of us experienced in childhood but gradually stopped practicing. Alongside that, I focus on creating moments of flow, presence, and self-expression, encouraging exploration without judgment.
In simple terms: creativity, flow state, and good energy are at the heart of every workshop.
FAQ's
No. Rita introduces the tile-painting method at the beginning of the workshop and guides you through the creative process. Beginners are welcome.
Yes. You're encouraged to bring your own ideas. If you have a specific design, bring it already traced onto tracing paper so it is ready to transfer onto the tile, or bring your own stencils. Inspiration models will also be available.
No. After the workshop, your tile will be professionally kiln-fired to ensure its finished appearance and durability. Once it is ready, you can arrange collection directly with Rita.
Yes. When collecting your finished tile, you'll have the opportunity to purchase additional decorative items, including boxes, trays and frames. These are optional extras and are not included in the workshop.
You'll leave with a personalised azulejo design in progress and the experience of creating something by hand. Once your tile has been fired and collected, you'll have a unique 15 × 15 cm ceramic piece to keep as a lasting memory of Mother's Day in Lisbon.
