There is a particular kind of quiet that comes with working clay. Our ceramics workshop in Lisbon is an introductory session designed around that feeling: no pressure, no prior experience needed, just you and your hands and a material that responds to exactly as much attention as you give it. Each person in the group works at their own pace, building their own piece from scratch while our professional ceramicist guides the process from start to finish.

We open with a short introduction to ceramics and its history, just enough context to make the session feel grounded. From there we move into a technical demonstration covering the core hand modelling and finishing techniques before everyone gets their hands in the clay. The rest of the session is yours to explore, shaping, texturing and decorating your piece with guidance available throughout. The pace is calm and the atmosphere is relaxed by design.
