We are Malibu Surf Gaia, a surf school based in Gaia, just next to Porto, with a passion for sharing the ocean and the Portuguese surf lifestyle.
Certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation since 1999, we have been teaching people to surf for decades. Our surf lessons run all year round, 7 days a week, welcoming surfers of all ages and experience levels.
Our team is made up of 100% passionate surfers and experienced instructors who know the local coastline and love helping people discover the excitement, freedom, and joy of surfing.
Whether you're catching your first wave or looking to improve your technique, we'll provide the equipment, guidance, and local knowledge you need for a safe, fun, and unforgettable surf experience.

FAQ's
The tour is exclusively for juniors aged 8 to 14 years old. The maximum group size is 8 juniors per tour.
No previous SUP experience is required. The activity is designed as a fun and accessible experience for young participants.
The experience includes a 1-hour SUP tour, all necessary SUP equipment, and insurance. Transportation and food are not included.
Participants should bring water, a towel, swim shorts or a bikini, and sunscreen.
Safety is the priority. The lesson only goes ahead when the weather and water conditions are suitable for the activity. If conditions aren't safe, the activity may need to be rescheduled.
