When it comes to creating stories through sound, Blackyard believes that through electronic music you can build a world where all paths are possible. Born and raised in the city of Lisbon, the DJ and music producer feels he has a mission to guide listeners on different sound trips, taking on each challenge as unique. On dancefloors, the aim will always be to take the audience to another dimension where low frequencies and breaks reign, with a focus on unpredictability that allows the listener to be surprised by different styles, bpms and atmospheres.
Navigating through different bpms and styles, Blackyard has already presented several sets on different radio stations such as Collect Radio, SubtleFm, Rewind It, Rádio Quântica and Rádio Oxigénio.
He has performed at clubs like Razzmatazz, Outra Cena and Hardclub as well as performances for Amen Lisboa, Counterpoint, Konnect, Shuffle Clubbing and XXIII . In these performances he has shared the DJ booth not only with great Portuguese artists but also international ones such as Breakage, FFF and Oppidan.
