Most people doodle without realising they are already making art. At our abstract doodle workshop in Lisbon, we take that instinct and give it intention, guiding you through the process of combining basic elements, lines, shapes and patterns into a painting that is genuinely expressive, therapeutic and surprisingly beautiful. The whole point of doodling is that there are no mistakes, only effects, and this session is designed around exactly that freedom.
We work through the logic of doodling first, exploring how basic elements combine to create meaning, movement and visual interest across a surface. From there the session opens into free, guided painting, with our artist helping you develop your own doodle language and build a composition that feels personal and complete. The process is deliberately playful and unhurried, designed to break patterns of thinking rather than reinforce them. A glass of wine, tea or coffee keeps the atmosphere exactly where it should be.

At Meet Art we run creative workshops in Lisbon for people of all backgrounds and experience levels, always in a space that feels relaxed, social and genuinely supportive. Our approach is simple: give people the right guidance, get out of the way of their creativity, and make sure everyone leaves with something they are proud of.
Our tutor will meet you at the front door of the building at Lote A, ten minutes before the session begins. If you arrive after that, ring the doorbell at number 249.
No prior experience with art or drawing needed. If you have ever doodled on the corner of a page and wondered what would happen if you kept going, this workshop is your answer.
