Surf lesson in Algarve for anyone who wants to feel what it is like to stand up on a wave for the first time. Future Eco Surf School runs daily surf lessons at Praia da Rocha at different times throughout the day, with certified local coaches in the water with you for the full hour and a half. This is not just a technical introduction to surfing. It is an entry point into a connection with the ocean that can genuinely change the way you move through the world.

The session follows a clear four-part structure designed to get you standing on the board as safely and confidently as possible. We start with a group warm-up to prepare the body, followed by a surf and safety briefing adapted to your previous experience level. From there we move onto the sand for practical exercises that build the muscle memory you need before you hit the water. The surf session itself runs with ongoing coaching, goal-setting, tips and real-time corrections throughout so you are never just left to figure it out alone.

At Future Eco Surf School we want to do more than teach you how to surf. We want to share our genuine stoke and connection with nature and especially with the ocean, because we believe that when surfing is approached consciously and with commitment it can be a truly life-changing experience. Our coaches are local, certified and deeply connected to Praia da Rocha and the Algarve coastline.

No prior surf experience needed. Lessons run daily at Praia da Rocha at various times. Just show up ready to get in the water.
