Have you ever imagined giving your photographs a new life through embroidery? In this workshop, led by Telma Pais de Faria of Herbário do Colibri, you will explore the fusion between image and thread, transforming photographs into unique and expressive pieces.
Throughout the session, you will learn simple embroidery techniques applied to photographic paper, discovering how to enhance details, create textures, and add a handmade dimension to your images. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to experiment and create.
Telma guides you through every step in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at Lisboa Paper Company, a creative space in the heart of Lisbon dedicated to local artists and independent Portuguese brands. By the end of the two hours you will have completed your embroidered photographs and understood a colection of embroidery stitches you can take into any future project.

We are Rosa and Leonor, founders of Lisboa Paper Company, a shop and creative space in the heart of Lisbon dedicated to showcasing and supporting local artists and small Portuguese brands. We created a space for experiences alongside the store, from creative workshops to tastings and cultural events, where people can connect, learn and enjoy local craftsmanship in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
