Led by Cecilia, the creative soul behind Arte e Cacos, this fun and hands-on session introduces you to the basics of working on the pottery wheel in a relaxed and inspiring studio environment influenced by the colours and textures of the Algarve coast. Suitable for complete beginners from age 11 upward, guided step by step throughout and no prior experience needed.

The session gives you direct and supported time at the wheel, learning how to centre the clay, open the form and begin to shape your piece with Cecilia’s guidance from the first touch of the material. Working on the pottery wheel is one of those experiences that looks simple and reveals its depth the moment you sit down, and this session is designed to make that discovery feel enjoyable and genuinely memorable rather than frustrating.
