SSI Open Water Diver course in Albufeira with Easydivers Algarve, a Diamond SSI and PADI certified dive centre that has been training divers since 2006. This is the internationally recognised certification that opens the door to diving anywhere in the world, taking you from complete beginner to qualified open water diver across three mornings of pool sessions and open water dives, with online e-learning theory included. No prior certification needed and open to participants from age 10 upward, with a minimum height of 1.40 metres.

The course follows the SSI Open Water Diver programme, one of the most respected entry-level certifications in the world. Online e-learning theory lets you complete the knowledge component at your own pace before the practical sessions begin. One pool session covering six modules gives you the foundational skills and comfort in the water before moving into four open water dives in the Algarve, working to a maximum depth of 12 or 18 metres depending on your age. Easydivers’ experienced and dedicated instructors guide you through every stage, and at the end you receive your SSI Open Water Diver International Digital Certification Card, your permanent passport to the world’s dive sites.

Course takes place over three mornings. Minimum age 10 years and 1.40 metres. Maximum depth 12 metres for younger participants and 18 metres for older participants. Not suitable for pregnant women. No prior certification required.
