Welding workshop in Aveiro at Escola de Soldadura, a four-hour hands-on introduction to the world of welding for anyone who wants a real and dynamic first experience with professional equipment, basic techniques and the working environment of the metalworking industry. More than a demonstration, this session is designed to spark genuine interest, build confidence and help every participant realise that they are capable of learning and growing within this profession. A Certificate of Participation is awarded at the end, ideal for adding to a CV as a documented first step into the welding industry.
The session covers basic workplace safety rules and the correct use of personal protective equipment before moving into welding machine setup and adjustment and then the hands-on experience itself, carrying out a first real practical weld with continuous individualised guidance from the instructor throughout. The before and after method is used throughout the practical component, allowing participants to observe and compare their own progress across the session. All PPE is provided by the organisation. Participants must bring steel-toe safety boots and appropriate clothing including long trousers.

No previous experience is required. The workshop is specifically designed for people who are trying welding for the first time and want to gain confidence with the equipment, techniques, and work environment.
