We are Malibu Surf Gaia, a surf school based in Gaia, just next to Porto, with a passion for sharing the ocean and the Portuguese surf lifestyle.
Certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation since 1999, we have been teaching people to surf for decades. Our surf lessons run all year round, 7 days a week, welcoming surfers of all ages and experience levels.
Our team is made up of 100% passionate surfers and experienced instructors who know the local coastline and love helping people discover the excitement, freedom, and joy of surfing.
Whether you're catching your first wave or looking to improve your technique, we'll provide the equipment, guidance, and local knowledge you need for a safe, fun, and unforgettable surf experience.

FAQ's
No! The lesson is suitable for beginners and more experienced surfers. Your instructor will adapt the lesson to your level and choose the best beach conditions for you.
The experience includes a 2-hour surf lesson, all necessary surf equipment, insurance, and instruction in a small group of up to 8 students per teacher.
Please bring water, a towel, swim shorts or a bikini, and sunscreen. Transportation and food are not included.
The minimum age is 6 years old. The instructors will adapt the lesson according to the participant's age and surfing level.
