The workshop lasts approximately two hours and combines practical instruction, guided painting exercises, and time for creative and meditative exploration.
Yes. Each participant creates a finished Chinese ink painting during the session and can take their completed artwork home.
You’ll learn fundamental Chinese ink painting techniques, including brush control and movement, ink and color mixing, gestural painting, composition, and the use of negative space. You’ll also explore the meditative and expressive aspects of Eastern artistic traditions.
All materials needed for the workshop are provided, including colored Chinese inks, traditional brushes, and painting materials. You do not need to bring your own art supplies.
No. The workshop is suitable for adults of all skill levels, including complete beginners. No previous experience with Chinese ink painting or sumi-e is required.
