Luis Castelo is the founder and host of **Oficina Oito**, a unique creative and culinary space in Lisbon where food, culture, and craftsmanship come together through immersive experiences. Passionate about bringing people together, Luis has spent years creating intimate workshops, private dining events, and hands-on cultural experiences that celebrate Portuguese traditions.
Rather than a traditional restaurant, Oficina Oito was designed as a welcoming home-like space where guests can learn, create, and connect. From Portuguese cooking classes and interactive dinners to traditional azulejo tile painting workshops, every experience reflects Luis's belief that the best way to discover Portugal is by participating in its culture.

I had a super nice evening with a great teacher who explained a lot to us about the beauty of cooking Ramen. The atmosphere was chilled, welcoming and we were able to get our hands involved - what I loved. At the end we were able to taste our own Ramen and it tasted (thanks to the help of our teacher) delicious. So, a big shout out to hands on and our teacher for making this evening happen!
