Candle making workshop in Almada at Homie Academy for anyone who has always been curious about making their own candles but never known where to start. This hands-on session takes you through the full process from beginning to end, discovering the different types of wax and their properties, melting, moulding and solidifying techniques, and how to add colour, fragrance and personal style to create candles that are genuinely unique. All materials included and you take home every candle you make, perfect for your own home, to give as a gift or as the first step toward a small artisan project. No prior experience needed.

The session moves through the complete candle-making process in a relaxed and unhurried way. An explanation of the different types of candles and the specific utility of each type of wax opens the session before moving into the practical work: initiating the process, making the candles, personalising with fragrances and colourants and then the drying and finishing stage where each piece reaches its final form. Simple tricks for a clean and professional finish are woven throughout, along with ideas for decorative candles and personalised gift sets.
