We absolutely loved the time we spent at Casa Arte. The house is stunning and the photos truly don’t do it justice. We picked the house as our wedding venue, it was the perfect location as it’s spacious and private. We also had friends stay with us here before and after the wedding. The house provided enough room for everyone to have privacy with amazing communal spaces to spend time together. Douglas and Charlotte were very welcoming and friendly. They made sure that our stay and wedding were memorable. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your space.

We have been in contact with Charlotte for the past years on planning and designing events at Casa Arte and we are delighted about how easy and effective all the communications has been. The venue itself is easy to navigate, filled with an authentic and modern charm, with the most beautiful corners to photograph. Planning events at Casa Arte is truly a pleasure and peace of mind, backstage wise. Couples rave about how much of a wonderful experience is to stay there. One of our favourite venues in Portugal!

We had a wonderful fortnight at Casa Arte and would highly recommend. Firstly the landscape and setting of the house is exquisite. It definitely has the most beautiful gardens of any house I’ve stayed in. The pool area is perfect: comfortable sun beds, plenty shade when needed, plenty of places to sit for meals outside. We loved the ice machine! The layout of the house is perfect for families travelling together - you can essentially have your own ‘wings’ to the house. The decor is modern and cool and the beds are very comfortable. The house is very conveniently located. You’re far enough away from the town so that you have tranquility but it is a very short drive to Lagos. The owner of the house is very hospitable and helpful. Would love to come again one day.

We’ve just returned from a week at Casa Arte having had a lovely week with friends and family. There were 13 of us in total and the villa felt spacious, comfortable, and well suited for adults as well as our young children. The pool is terrific and the terraces provide valuable shade when it’s needed. The grounds are impeccably kept and the whole villa has clean, modern and highly maintained interiors. Lagos is conveniently located with all the supermarkets and other amenities you need nearby. We cooked at the property quite a lot and took advantage of the bbq/pizza oven facilities. The ice machine and giant double fridge swallowed up all our food shopping and importantly, a good selection of drinks!! We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we visit the area. Thank you Charlotte for letting us use your home, and for Douglas for his local knowledge and attention.

Absolutely amazing experience in Casa Arte, from the rooms to the pool area the whole house Is full of grace and elegance. The attention to the detail it’s outstanding we were so happy with our stay we can’t recommend enough. Special mention to “Le Jardins” solar lights that give the pool and the gardens a classy touch
