Creative Portuguese language workshop in Braga for anyone who already knows some Portuguese but is not yet using their full potential in the language. Led by Kayane Gavrilof, creative educator and self-proclaimed creative anarchist, this is not a Portuguese class and Kayane is not here to teach you grammar. This is a space where you use what you already know, challenged and stretched through creative games, immersive exercises and collaborative group work, entirely in Portuguese, until the language starts to feel genuinely yours rather than something you are performing.
The session works through creative practices designed to break through the specific barriers that hold most intermediate learners back: the speed of native speakers, the pressure of making mistakes and the gap between understanding Portuguese and actually feeling comfortable using it. Kayane creates a playful and pressure-free environment where the language itself becomes the playground, and every participant leaves having used their Portuguese more confidently and more naturally than when they arrived. The price is set as a donation amount, a deliberate choice that reflects a genuine belief in making meaningful experiences accessible.

I am Kayane Gavrilof, a creative educator based in Portugal and against traditional teaching and learning methods by conviction. I have been organising workshops across different countries and am now focused on two things here in Portugal: creative and engaging ways to internalise the Portuguese language regardless of your level, and techniques to overcome creative blocks. I believe experience and growth are real currency. That is why the price for this workshop is set as a donation amount.
Open to all levels of Portuguese. No prior language study requirements and no grammar pressure. Based in Braga.
