An evening made by hand.
NightCut is a series of intimate collage nights in Lisbon, built around a simple idea: some evenings deserve more than a screen.
We bring fifteen people around one long table, fill it with magazines, books, paper, scissors and glue, pour the wine, and let the evening unfold. No phones to scroll, no small talk to force, no blank canvas to be afraid of. Just images to discover, things to make, and conversations that happen naturally.
You don't need to be an artist. You don't need a plan. You don't even need to know what you're making when you sit down. Cut, tear, layer, rearrange — somewhere between the first glass and the last piece of paper, something begins to take shape.
Each NightCut evening has its own atmosphere, but the spirit stays the same: making things with your hands, sharing a table with strangers, and giving yourself a few hours to be somewhere other than online.
We believe creativity doesn't need to be productive, polished or perfect. Sometimes, it's enough to make something simply because you can. And sometimes, the best thing you take home isn't just the collage — it's the feeling of having spent an evening entirely in the moment.
NightCut is for the curious, the restless, the creatively stuck, the serial screenshotters who want to make something real, and anyone looking for a different kind of night out.
Fifteen seats. One long table. A night made by hand.
Come as you are. Leave with something you made.
NightCut — collage nights in Lisbon.
Yes. About half of our guests come on their own, and the long shared table makes it easy to meet people.
Not at all! NightCut is all about experimenting, getting creative and enjoying the process. All materials and tools are provided, and you’re free to cut, tear, layer and glue your way to a collage that feels uniquely yours. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.
Absolutely! Around half of our guests come solo, so you’ll be in good company. The long candlelit table creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you can meet new people naturally, whether you come alone or with friends.
Everything you need for the night is included: collage materials and tools (magazines, scissors, glue, thread, wax and gold leaf), unlimited wine, Halloween punch, tartlets, bruschetta and silent horror film screenings. You’ll also take home the collage you create during the evening.
The dress code is black, setting the mood for a candlelit Halloween night. Costumes are welcome if you feel like dressing up, but they’re entirely optional. Come dressed in black, embrace the atmosphere and get ready for an evening of analogue creativity and vintage horror.
Doors open at 20:00, with wine, tartlets and bruschetta to welcome you. At 21:00, the collage session begins, accompanied by silent horror film screenings. At 23:00, we bring out the Halloween punch for a late-night table of creativity and conversation. The evening wraps up at 01:00, giving you five hours to make, connect and enjoy the atmosphere.
