Minimalist art is not about doing less. It is about knowing exactly what to keep. At our minimalist painting workshop in Lisbon, we walk you through the process of creating a painting built on simplicity, order and elegance using acrylic paints, where every line, shape and colour combination is deliberate and nothing is there by accident. You will leave with a finished artwork that is entirely your own and looks exactly as considered as it was to make.
We work through colour theory and mixing first, giving you the foundation to make precise decisions rather than happy accidents. From there you move into working with clean lines and geometric shapes, building your composition layer by layer until the painting finds its balance. Our tutor is with you throughout the session, guiding technique and helping you develop the visual confidence to trust your own eye. The result is something genuinely beautiful in its simplicity.
