Do I need any previous sailing experience?
No experience is needed at all. Our classes are designed for complete beginners — you'll learn everything on the water, from scratch.
What will I learn in 3 hours?
You'll get hands-on time at the helm and cover the essentials: points of sail, reading the wind, sail trim, tacking, gybing, and basic safety on board. Enough to feel the boat and understand how sailing works.
How many people are in each class?
Classes run with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring personalised attention from the skipper.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a light jacket or windbreaker — it can get breezy on the water. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also recommended. No special equipment needed.
Where does the class take place?
Please arrive 15 minutes early and be aware of Lisbon's heavy traffic. Classes depart from Doca de Santo Amaro, Alcântara, Lisbon — Uber tip: When inserting the address, write "Rui dos Pregos - Docas". You will be dropped on the opposite side of the dock, walk by the restaurants and you will find us at Gate 1 .
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our priority. If conditions are not suitable for sailing, we'll reschedule your class to the next available Saturday at no extra cost.
